Case Description:
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. He Derong, 56, lived at the Songzao Coal Mine in Qijiang County, Chongqing City. She was arrested for the first time in 2002 by police from the Songzao Coal Mine Station and detained for ten days. On April 2, 2004, police arrested Ms. He Derong. After being detained in Qijiang County Detention Center for one month, police sentenced her to one year of forced labor and took her to the Maojiashan's Women Labor Camp in Chongqing City. Ms. He Derong refused to accept any brainwashing. Guards tortured her by force-feeding her highly concentrated salt solution and unknown drugs, causing her body to become severely sick. She was as thin as a skeleton. Ms. He Derong was released in 2005, but she was continually monitored at home. Due to being brutally mistreated in the forced labor camp and force-fed unknown drugs, Ms. He Derong's head became deformed, and one eye was protruding. She was often in a foggy state of mind, and her face turned dark. Her lungs and heart both developed diseases, and for a long time she vomited and emitted blood. She died at 10:37 p.m. on September 11, 2007.
