Zhao JinHua, Ma YuFeng and Zhan KeYun were arrested when they were working on their farms. Wang HaoHong was arrested in her barbershop. Wang FengLan was arrested at her home. All five of them after being arrested were detained in a room.

On the first day of the New Millennium, over 500 practitioners from United States and Canada gathered in the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston and started the two-day Falun Dafa Boston Experience Sharing Conference.
On December 30, we Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore tried to deliver a letter to the Chinese Embassy to express our concern over the injustice against Li Chang, Wang Zhiwen, Ji Liewu, and Yaojie, as well as other arrested contact people in China. We also expressed our hope that the Chinese government could open a dialogue with Falun Gong to solve the current crisis.
Only one week ago, we got to know that there would be a big Millennium celebration in Washington DC. The Fist Family and other important figures were going to attend the celebration. Many practitioners therefore, thought it would be a valuable opportunity to promote Falun Dafa during that time. On December 29, we Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to express our concern over the injustice against the four contact people and to urge the Chinese communist regime to stop its irrational persecutions against Falun Gong practitioners. We held two banners. One read "Falun Dafa"; the other one read "Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance)".
