(Minghui.org) Update: Group Exercise Schedule Increased Over the Weekend

For the convenience of fellow practitioners who have a busy work schedule, starting this week, Minghui Radio via Satellite has increased the group exercise schedule over the weekend. Every Saturday between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Beijing Time, we will play the music for the five exercises. More fellow practitioners in Mainland China are welcome to join the group exercises and take this as an opportunity to cultivate diligently, better validate the Fa, and clarify the truth.

Sample Question and Feedback

Greetings, fellow editor practitioners.

We learned that Minghui Radio via Satellite plays the exercise music every morning between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. This is truly great, as it makes it convenient for Dafa disciples to do the exercises at the same time. Thank you.

However, some Dafa disciples do not have a radio to hear the Minghui broadcast. They would like to know, via the Minghui website, the sequence of the exercise music being played. This way, they will be able to do the exercises in the same order and at the same time as fellow practitioners.

In addition, can we move up the starting time for the exercises by five or ten minutes so that they will not overlap with the sending of righteous thoughts. Thank you!

Reply from the Editorial Board:

Since Minghui Radio has been broadcasting via satellite, we have received feedback and requests from practitioners in Mainland China (see sample above). As a result, adjustments to the weekend schedule of Minghui Radio satellite broadcasts have been in effect since last weekend. The morning exercise schedule, previously 4:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m., has changed to 3:50 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. It lasts a total of 2 hours 10 minutes. The sequence remains the first, second, third, fourth and fifth exercises.

Detailed timeline: The first, second, third, and fourth exercises start at 3:50 a.m. and last one hour. The fifth exercise begins at 4:50 a.m., and the music lasts for 1 hour and 10 minutes so that Dafa disciples can join in sending righteous thoughts together at that set time around the world. Regular Minghui Radio broadcasting will begin at 6:00 a.m. as usual for the everyday audience.

Thanks for mainland practitioners' feedback and suggestions. Please share the information among each other so that more practitioners can join the group exercises everyday across China. (April 2, 2007)

Reference: Basic Information Regarding Satellite Broadcasting

I. Installation of Satellite Dishes (Commonly Called Little Ears)

Currently, the satellite broadcast covers a large area in China. Most places south of Liaoning Province and east of Gansu Province can use a 60-90cm Satellite dish (commonly called Little Ear). The program is not coded and can be received by most common receivers. Those which already receive the W5 Satellite signals can easily receive Minghui Radio by scanning the frequencies.

II. Installation of Receivers

1. Use speakers or a headphone as receiver: Make an in/out jack, solder the sound wire to the headphone. Then connect powered speakers to headphones to listen.

2. Listen directly with the headphone: Connect the sound output wire directly to the headphone or earphone.

3. Use a television set: This is the most straightforward approach. Use the sound output from the television for NTDTV programs for listening to the exercise music. To conserve energy, brightness can be tuned down or use a small screen black-and-white television.
