(Clearwisdom.net) "I feel the power of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance in the exhibition!"

Swedish Congresswoman Eva Selin Lindgren talked about her feelings at the opening ceremony of the International Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition held at the Gothenburg City Library on July 6.

The library is located in the cultural center of Gothenburg, and is close to the Grand Theater, the History Museum and the Concert Hall. The week-long exhibition attracted numerous people, including artists, political figures and tourists. Some came because of the reputation of the exhibition; others were drawn into the exhibition when they passed by the exhibition venue.

The works were created by a group of artists from different backgrounds. These artists have all elevated their physical and spiritual realms by practicing Falun Gong. The works present the wonderful realm of harmony between man and nature and the assimilation of life into Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. They also show the difference between good and evil as shown in the cruel persecution against Falun Gong launched by the Chinese Communist Party of China. Retribution and rewards for evil and for good is also depicted in a tasteful manner. When evil challenged the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance, Falun Gong practitioners, with a steadfast, persevering and unyielding spirit, faced hatred, discrimination-even killing-with hearts of great benevolence and forbearance. Also depicted in the art are the values of justice, freedom, dignity and courage.

Swedish congresswoman Eva Selin Lindgren said during the opening ceremony that Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are very important values in human life. However, people who follow these principles have suffered cruel persecution by the Chinese Communist Party in China. The exhibition demonstrates the courage of people who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and it is really admirable.

Another Swedish congressman, Hans Rothenberg, spoke at the opening ceremony. He said that while Sweden and China are strengthening economic and trade ties, the two should promote democracy and human rights. We should put forward a request to the Swedish athletes and staff members participating in the Olympic Games in Beijing next year to be Ambassadors of Swedish democracy and human rights. They should bear the obligation of improving the democratic process and improvement of human rights in China. The Gothenburg ship should bring the Swedish people democracy and human rights into China too.

A lady over fifty years old, after seeing the exhibition, told a Falun Gong practitioner: "This exhibition touches the heart very much. I come from Kristianstad. You are welcome to hold this exhibition in our city library. I can provide accommodation to you at no charge."

A gentleman stood in front of Professor Zhang Kunlun's work "Red Wall" for a long time and wrote in the guest-book: "So long as people have faith and righteous thoughts, there will be hope."

An Indian student who studies at Gothenburg University carefully viewed every painting and said, "This persecution is so cruel. The suffering of Falun Gong practitioners in the paintings is so real. I am very sad."

Some visitors said they will recommend this exhibition to the Olympic Committee of Sweden. A lot of people expressed their intentions to learn more about Falun Gong.

Many people left messages in the guest-book, including:

"Curiosity made me go into the exhibition room. I will leave with a heart touched. I will believe more firmly in the power of good in mankind."

"The truth belongs to people that do not give up. This exhibition of paintings gives me hope and encouragement."

"Good will overcome evil eventually! Thank you for holding this important art exhibition"

"Grateful for this exhibition of paintings. A highly worthy lesson."

"A painting is worth a thousand words"

"Thank you for your courage and righteous thoughts"

Margareta Nordh, a Falun Gong practitioner who helped organize this exhibition said with deep feeling: "A lot of people visited this exhibition every day. They learned about it from different sources. Some people brought their colleagues, friends or their children back after they had seen it. They generally think this is a touching exhibition. We will continue to hold it in other cities of Sweden so that more people will understand Falun Gong and the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party."
