Overcoming Congenital Heart Problems

I used to have congenital heart disease. My family was very poor and couldn't afford surgery for me. The doctor predicted that without corrective surgery, I wouldn't live past 24. I gave birth to a baby boy when I was 23 and he died three days later because of a congenital heart problem. Losing my son and knowing that my life would end soon, I was in despair.

I learned Falun Gong a month later. Following its principles, I became forgiving and was respectful to my in-laws and husband. I told my in-laws about my heart problem, which I had kept from them before, and apologized for my son's death.

The next year I gave birth to another boy. He is in perfect health. I am forty now and haven't had any more health problems. Falun Gong gave me a healthy son and a new life.

Falun Gong Saved My Son's Life

I was a practitioner when I was pregnant with my son, so he grew up with the teachings of Falun Gong.

When my son was fourteen, one day he complained about abdominal pains and had purple spots on his legs. The next day, both of his wrists and ankles had become dislocated. He was hospitalized and diagnosed with a rare disease: allergic purpura.

The purpura progressed very quickly and my son was internally bleeding in his organs and brain. He had sharp pains in his abdomen and dislocated joints in his limbs. He soon fell into a coma. During the short while that he was conscious, I told him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

He agreed. I then played recordings of the Falun Gong lectures for him.

Over the next several days his complexion became much better.

He woke up and told me, “Mommy, I saw Master. I saw spinning Falun in this room. I want to go home and practice Falun Gong.”

Seeing his dramatic change, my husband didn't second-guess my son's decision. The doctor, believing that my son might die, had us sign a waiver before releasing him.

My son focused on studying the teachings of Falun Gong and doing the exercises after he got home. It was physically painful at first, but he insisted on forging ahead.

A week later, he completely recovered and there was no more pain. A month later, he could walk to school without help.
