(Minghui.org) After Mr. Li Guangyuan testified in defense of his wife, Ms. Mo Weiqiu, in the Ninghe County Court, the authorities arrested him at the end of the trial.
His family asked for his whereabouts and got the runaround from the authorities. Both Ms. Mo and Mr. Li are Falun Gong practitioners. Since the onset of the persecution in 1999, they were illegally arrested, tortured in forced labor camps, subjected to brainwashing, and imprisoned.
Mr. Li was asked to testify at the trial and was only allowed to give “yes” and “no” answers. When he pointed out that the evidence was falsified, the judge refused to acknowledge it.
The judge asked Mr. Li's daughter and other relatives to leave the courtroom at the end of the trial. As soon as they left, the authorities arrested Mr. Li. With Ms. Mo and Mr. Li both detained, there is no one to take care of their two children and an elderly family member.
His daughter and relatives later discovered that the police had ransacked each of their homes while they were away.
