The following is the letter from the Honorable MacTiernan:

World Falun Dafa Day,

We wish the Falun Dafa community the very best. Your insight into our true nature and your profound commitment to a peaceful world make you an asset for all humanity.

Joseph Bullock, Senator for Western Australia

Senator Bullock stated in his letter, “On World Falun Dafa Day I am pleased to register my support and encouragement to the millions of practitioners who stoically stand firm against the persecution faced by fellow practitioners in China.”

Senator Dean Smith

Senator Dean Smith's letter is as follows:

I extend my warmest wishes to Western Australia's Falun Dafa community on the occasion of World Falun Dafa Day.

As a free and open society, Australia cherishes human rights, and celebrates the right of all people to peacefully practice the religion of their choice.

The commitment of Falun Gong practitioners to Truth, Compassion and Forbearance is something that should be cherished by all Australians. These values lie at the heart of both Falun Dafa, and Australian society as a whole.

Sadly, this is not the case everywhere in the world. We must continue working to end oppression of Falun Dafa in China, and the imprisonment and torture of followers.

I wish you well for World Falun Dafa Day, and thank you most sincerely for all you do to enrich our community here in Western Australia.

Senator Dean Smith
