(Minghui.org) In the current wave of filing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, each practitioner should remember that “I am a practitioner.” In this way, each can discern and restrain attachments as well as take less detours in achieving our goal.

We should not ignore our cultivation, and we should always look for strong attachments within ourselves, such as attachments to attaining results or to “doing things.”

In the process of filing lawsuits, let us recognize and let go of doing it as if we're just fulfilling a task. Let us file our lawsuits without any attachments of pursuing consummation, or of selfishness, saving face, following the trend, showing off and resentment.

Master taught, “What's not a right mind? It refers to a person’s inability to always treat himself as a practitioner.” (“Lecture Six” from Zhuan Falun)

We must clearly know why we are doing something and what its purpose is. We need to distinguish our human notions and keep ourselves unaffected. If we think more from the perspective of the Fa and treat ourselves as practitioners, our lawsuits will have a good effect. Do not be attached to the success or failure on the surface, while ignoring our identities as practitioners.

In the past I did not have a deep understanding of the Fa as taught in “Your Mind Must be Right” and “Your Main Consciousness Should Predominate” (Zhuan Falun). I thought that as long as I did not do bad things or have bad thoughts, my mind would be right. Now I know that that understanding is based on human thinking.

As a practitioner, I should always remind myself of who I am and treat myself as a practitioner. That is a manifestation of a righteous mindset and strong main consciousness. If certain ideas, words, deeds, and feelings are not from our true selves, they may be the manifestations of thought karma, attachments, and postnatal notions. One has to recognize and remove them; otherwise, if one accepts these thoughts as his own self in his thinking and behavior, then his mind is not right and his main consciousness is not strong. Then, if one remains in this state for a long while, he may no longer truly be a practitioner.

When we went to Beijing to validate the Fa in 1999, everyone's motivation was different, so the effects were different. My own understanding back then was that “in order to reach consummation, I have to validate the Fa.” My understanding placed personal consummation as the priority, rather than validating the Fa, clarifying the facts, and safeguarding the Fa.

Since my priorities were reversed, I did not fulfill the purpose of validating the Fa.

Now that we are filing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, we should learn from past lessons. We need to understand that this act is not for personal consummation or for oneself; it is to validate the Fa and save sentient beings. I believe that is Master's wish, and that is the manifestation of a righteous mind and a strong main consciousness.

If we have the right understanding, will we still be afraid or driven by selfishness and human thinking? This also requires us to study the Fa well and to have more exchanges with fellow practitioners to enhance our understanding. In addition, we must continue to do well with the other projects we have been doing.

In short, only by maintaining the state of a Dafa practitioner can we do things more effectively.
