(Minghui.org) Ever since the persecution of Falun Gong started in China on July 20, 1999, practitioners all over the world have endeavored to bring it to an end.

To mark the 16th year of this atrocity, practitioners in St. Petersburg organized week-long activities, protesting in front of the Chinese Consulate, clarifying the truth about the persecution, and calling for help to end it.

Several organ transplant doctors were stunned to hear about the state-sanctioned organ harvesting crime in China and were quick to sign their names on the petition to end the atrocity.

A university teacher said it was the first time he had ever heard about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. He signed his name and asked for more printed materials to give to his Chinese students.

Many people were very sympathetic to the suffering practitioners have endured and wanted to do more to help end the persecution.
