(Minghui.org) The Minghui website published a notice calling for submissions to celebrate Falun Dafa Day. I have gone from not submitting an article for many years, to submitting many articles over the past two years. I decided to write about my experience of breaking through human notions and actively submitting articles.

"I don't know how to write"

Some practitioners think they don't have enough education or have never written articles before, so they assume that writing an article is very difficult. I believe this is a human notion. A sharing doesn't need flowery words, to follow a rigorous format, or be any certain length. We only need to tell the story clearly.

If you can verbally communicate a story clearly, you can then write your words down and it will become an article.

"I have nothing to share"

This was one excuse I used for many years, and I have heard fellow practitioners use it often, too. Think about it. Over the 17 years of persecution, a practitioner who has been able to persist in cultivation is really an awesome story itself. There have been numerous tests of life and death, incarcerations, and stories of talking about Falun Gong to ordinary people. These are the things to write about.

Many ordinary people who heard and accepted the truth about Falun Gong changed their attitude about the practice and then experienced beneficial changes in their job, study, family, and life. Aren't these examples worth being written about as testimonials to Dafa?

Understand the Meaning of Submitting Articles

The Minghui Editorial Board wrote, “Even if each person sent in one story, that would mean tens of millions of stories.”

Practitioners need to act according to what each stage of the Fa-rectification process requires. We should not let opportunities go to waste.

We have observed major stages in validating the Fa in human society, from appealing to the central government when the persecution started in July 1999 to persuading people to quit the Party and its affiliates and now filing lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. But we also noticed that too few practitioners participated in many of these efforts.

There is also a change in the tone of the recent notice calling for submissions. It is no longer asking practitioners to share their enlightenments from the Fa. Instead, it wants practitioners to share their stories of benefiting from Dafa, including the stories of family members and friends.

I am sure that every practitioner has more than a dozen stories like that. I think the articles are also documenting the miracles of Dafa for future generations and laying a foundation for the future culture.

Writing Is a Process of Cultivation

I started to think about this article three days ago. At first, I only had a few scattered ideas. I begged Master to give me wisdom and also looked inward and saw that my initial reason for writing this article was for it to act as “an exhortation” to fellow practitioners. Exhortation is part of communist party culture. I let the notion go and then the article came together quickly.

More than three weeks have passed since the notice was published. I hope that, through sharing my limited understanding on this topic, fellow practitioners will break through obstacles and pick up their pens.

Please kindly point out where my understandings are not correct.
