(Minghui.org) I was arrested on November 23, 2015, as I was returning home from work. Several officers from the Wenhualu Police Station raided my home. They took Dafa books, my cell phone, and my laptop. As they dragged me away, I called out, “Falun Dafa is good! The police are committing a crime!”

When I was taken to the Xinjianglu Police Station, I could hear practitioners being interrogated in other rooms. Tian Yu and another officer questioned me. I refused to sit on the metal chair and took another chair, since I was not a criminal.

They all wore video cameras on their chests, and I was questioned about the lawsuit I’d filed against Jiang Zemin.

I told them, “I'm following legal procedure to sue Jiang Zemin, and that is my right as protected by law. There is no legal reason for you to question me.”

I was taken to the detention center that night. To make me wear the inmate uniform, two female guards used a pair of scissors to cut up my coat and pants and threw them away. They put the inmate uniform on me and took me to cell No. 7.

My spine was fractured back in October 2001 when Hu Bin and Gao Weixing at the Wenhualu Police Station tortured me. To avoid further abuse, I jumped from the building. My injury developed into lumbar hyperplasia.

This time the detention center inmates forced me to lay down flat on the bed—a cold, hard board. If I moved, they slapped me and held me flat on the board. The bone that rubbed against the board caused me extreme pain. I wasn't given any covers or bedding for two days, and I was freezing.

I started a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. After four days, they started to force feed me through a nasal tube. Li, the center doctor, said proudly, “Do you know why they call me 'Li Ten Needles?' It's because I only find blood vessels after trying ten times.”

They taped the tube tightly to my nose, face, and head. The edge of the tape cut into my nose. The cuts were so painful that I couldn't sleep. They handcuffed me behind my back and tied me up with straps. I was also forced to wear a heavy helmet.

By the next day, my whole body had swelled. I could barely open my eyes. My hands had puffed up like steamed buns. Li told the inmates that I would be thirsty since he had force fed me with salt, but no one was allowed to give me any water. I was extremely thirsty and in unbearable pain.

A few days later, they chained my handcuffs and shackles together. Yet I still refused to give in. They didn't allow me to wash my hair or brush my teeth for over 20 days. I was constantly shouted at. I asked to be unconditionally released, but the officials in the detention center refused, claiming that they had no authority to do so. I asked for paper to write an appeal, but guard Li Shiqiu refused to give me any.

By December 15, 2015, I was having headaches and seizures, and my body was numb. I began hallucinating and having panic attacks. The center doctor and the head of the detention center came to give me infusions. I couldn't feel anything when the cold liquid flowed into my unconscious body. When the inmates asked me if I would end my hunger strike, I told them no, not unless they released me without any condition since I hadn't committed any crime.

On the morning of December 16, two doctors came. When I refused to give up my hunger strike, they ordered the inmates to yank out the bloody nasal tube and replace it with a new one. The pain caused me to spasm, and I vomited out dark brown bile.

One of the doctors stared at me and threatened to change the tube every day until I gave in. At noon, doctor Li came. When he learned that I was still on a hunger strike, he was furious. “Don't think you can leave here!” he yelled. “We will wait, then drag your body out after you die.”

Around 4 p.m. that afternoon, my family carried me out of the detention center. I was in extremely poor condition, skinny, and dizzy. My injured back throbbed in pain, and I was suffering from severe insomnia. I still haven't recovered completely. The mark caused by the tape on my nose is still visible.

Chinese law states that “Everyone is equal before the law” and espouses “Freedom of Speech.” I followed legal procedure to file a lawsuit with the Supreme Court against Jiang Zemin, the one who initiated and has overseen the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners for years.

As a Chinese citizen and a complainant, I should be protected by law, but the police arrested and detained me. I ask: Weren't my human and legal rights violated?
