(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden raised awareness about Falun Gong in Halmstad on March 11, 2017. Halmstad is a city with a long history, beautiful beaches, famous castles, and Halmstad University. Many people stopped to learn about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution of the practice by the communist regime in China.

An elderly gentleman who had visited China many times signed the practitioners' petition against China's state-sanctioned organ harvesting from imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners. Another man spent a long time with the group asking questions and finally said,“The organ harvesting is evil! I have to sign the petition!”
A woman approached Falun Gong practitioners who were demonstrating the exercises and asked, “Where can I learn the exercises?” Another young man said he had recently learned the practice on his own, and would like to attend a group practice site.
A Chinese man who has lived in Sweden for many years stopped and asked many questions about Falun Gong, including about the so-called “self-immolation on Tiananmen Square” and other things he had heard from China's state-run media. The practitioner answered his questions one by one. He realized Falun Gong had been slandered and unjustly persecuted by the regime and took some additional informational materials with him as he left.
A Chinese young man learned the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong and decided to take a stance against the Communist Party by quitting the Young Pioneers, which he had joined as a child.
