(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wu Limei and His Wife Ms. Liang Zhihong Arrested

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Guishang and Ms. Liu Guilian Arrested and Detained
5. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Liyu Arrested and Detained
6. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Liguo Missing
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Xianying Arrested and Detained
8. [Beijing] Ms. Meng Guangqin Harassed
1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wu Limei and His Wife Ms. Liang Zhihong Arrested
Mr. Wu Limei and his wife Ms. Liang Zhihong were arrested on September 20, 2023. Ms. Liang’s brother was also arrested that day. He was pressured to sign a statement before he was released the next day. Ms. Liang’s mother was harassed at her home by officers from the Huangjia Township Police Station. They photographed her.
2. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Tang Shumin Arrested
Tang Shumin from Xian’an District was arrested by officers from the Shihaoqiao Police Station around 10 a.m. on October 2, 2023, when Tang talked to people about Falun Gong near the Tianli Hotel.
3. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Na Imprisoned
Ms. Xu Nan was transferred from the Dongcheng District Detention Center to Tianhe Prison on September 20, 2023. She was transferred to the Beijing Women’s Prison on September 26, 2023.
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Guishang and Ms. Liu Guilian Arrested and Detained
Two sisters from Daoli District, Ms. Liu Guishuang and Ms. Liu Guilian, were arrested in early September 2023 and are still detained.
5. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Liyu Arrested and Detained
Ms. Huang Liyu was arrested at home by officers from the Rui’an Police Station in the Mazhang District on May 11, 2023. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, media player, cell phone, 1000 yuan, etc. The list of the confiscated items was not given to Ms. Huang or her family. Ms. Huang was taken to the police station for interrogation and was later held for 9 days in the Zhanjiang City Detention Center. After she was released, she was shown a paper with no official stamp and no signature, which stated that she was placed under residential surveillance.
6. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Liguo Missing
Mr. Wang Liguo from the Xing’an District went to Wuzhishan Park on September 26, 2023, and has been missing since then.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Xianying Arrested and Detained
Ms. Chen Xianying from Xindu District was arrested by officers from the Chengdong Police Station in early September 2023 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days in the Xindu District Detention Center.
8. [Beijing] Ms. Meng Guangqin Harassed
Ms. Meng Guanqin was followed all day on September 28, 2023, by security guards assigned by the Shijiakeng Neighborhood Committee in the Changping District.
