(Minghui.org) I am a 60-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner, who started cultivating Dafa in 1999. Below, I would like to share some stories from my face-to-face truth clarification experiences in recent months.
1. “I Met a Truly Good Person Today!”
While I was outside one day, I noticed an older man walking with an abnormal gait coming from the opposite direction. I walked forward and greeted him kindly, “What’s wrong with your leg?” He replied, “I suffered a stroke, so my arm, leg, and hand on one side aren’t as nimble anymore. The hospital could not cure it, and my financial situation is bad, so I’ve ceased further treatment.” I advised him, “Recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ sincerely, and your condition will improve.” Convinced, the elderly man asked me, “How many times should I recite it each day?” I advised him to sincerely recite the phrases whenever he could remember, and he readily agreed.
I also clarified the truth to him regarding the persecution of Dafa and why quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ensures one’s safety. The elderly man confirmed he was a member of the CCP, and when I advised him to quit, he told me his real name and asked me to submit his withdrawal for him. When I gave him a Falun Dafa protective amulet, he received it with both hands and thanked me repeatedly, “You are such a good person, how can I thank you?” I replied, “You should thank Falun Dafa’s Master! Master Li directed me to save you.” With tears in his eyes, the elderly man exclaimed, “Thank you, Master Li!”
Just before we parted, he told me, “I met a truly good person today!”
2. “Let Me Shake Your Hand!”
One day while walking along the road, I noticed an older woman walking ahead of me with a bag. I caught up to her and asked, “Elder sister, what did you buy?” She replied, “It’s too hot to cook, so I’ve bought some xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) to eat.” Her accent indicated she was not from the region, so I asked, “Do you come from Northeast China?” She replied, “I’m from Liaoning [province]. I spent the past two months visiting my daughter here, and plan to return to my hometown in a few days to look after my grandson.” We continued to chat as we walked, and I told her, “It was destiny that brought us together. I hope for you to remain safe and healthy.”
I then explained to her the truth behind the persecution of Dafa and advised her to quit the CCP. The elderly woman willingly agreed to quit the CCP with a pseudonym. I gave her a Falun Dafa protective amulet and advised her to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” to obtain blessings. She happily thanked me, and said, “I am glad we met. Despite our short acquaintance, I feel like I have met a good friend. When you have the chance, come visit me in Northeast China.” She then disclosed her real name and the district where she lived. I replied, “Let us meet again if destiny permits.” Before we parted, she said, “Let me shake your hand!” We then bid each other farewell.
3. “When Will I See You Again?”
One day, while clarifying the truth at the market, I ran into an older woman sitting by the roadside with a cart full of purchased fruits and vegetables. I asked, “Elder sister, are you taking a break?” She replied, “Yes, my arms and legs hurt.” We struck up a conversation, and I learned she had recently moved to town and was staying with her son. However, to her sorrow, her son and daughter-in-law treated her badly. Using the principles of Dafa, I tried to advise and comfort her.
I explained the truth behind the persecution of Dafa to her and advised her to quit the CCP. She agreed to quit the Young Pioneers and said, “This is the first time I’ve heard about this.” I further advised her, “If you recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” more frequently, you will feel happier.” When I gave her a Falun Dafa protective amulet, she grabbed my hand and cried, “Thank you! You are such a good person!” I replied, “Actually, it’s Falun Dafa that is good, and my Master who guided me to help others benefit from this information.” Still holding my hand, she asked, “Can we meet again?” I reassured her, “We will meet again if destiny permits.” With tears in her eyes, she reluctantly said goodbye.
4. “Waiting for You!”
One day, I saw a young woman and a wheelchair-bound elderly woman resting by the roadside. I stepped forward to ask, “What’s wrong with elder sister?” To my surprise, the old woman replied, “I’m waiting for you.” After the young woman explained the elderly woman suffered from cerebellar atrophy, I turned to the older woman, “Elder sister, were you waiting for me? Then we are really destined to meet. If you recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ with sincerity, you can receive miraculous healing effects.” The elderly woman replied, “I believe it.”
I also explained to them the truth behind the persecution of Dafa and advised them to quit the CCP to ensure their safety. Midway through my spiel, the elderly woman interjected, “You are right.” The young woman told me she had been in the Communist Youth League, while the older woman told me, “I was once in the Young Pioneers.” Surprised, I asked the elderly woman, “Sister, do you understand everything I just said?” She replied, “I understand. Please help us quit.” I turned to the young woman in shock, “Is she truly ill?” The young woman reassured me, “Her mental state and mood today are exceptionally good.” I wished them well as they prepared to leave. The elderly woman held my hand and said, “Thank you and good-bye!” After they left, I thanked Master from the bottom of my heart.
5. “Okay, I’ll Quit, Thank You!”
One day, I saw an elderly woman pushing a bicycle as she slowly walked along the road. I asked her, “Elder sister, why aren’t you riding your bike?” She replied, “I injured my leg while cycling. The pain is so bad, I can’t ride my bike. I was feeling bored at home, so I decided to go for a walk using my bicycle as a crutch.” When I asked her age, she told me she was 80 years old. I advised her, “You can recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ to relieve your pain.” I also told her the truth behind the persecution of Dafa and advised her to quit the CCP. She told me, “I believe in Jesus.” I told her, “I’m not telling you to practice Falun Gong, I only want you to know the truth about the persecution.” We struck up a conversation, and I learned she used to be a teacher before her retirement. Moreover, a colleague of hers had been jailed for practicing Falun Gong. I lamented, “The Communist Party does not encourage its citizens to be good people. Gods are watching people as they commit sins.” She agreed and added, “The Communist Party is evil, and their actions have caused China’s current state.”
When I asked if she had ever joined the CCP, the elderly woman confirmed she had joined the Communist Youth League in her teens. I told her, “Our country recently suffered many natural and man-made disasters, and it seems like another epidemic is coming.” The elderly woman added, “A great flood happened in Beijing, yet the Communist Party ignored their plight, causing the deaths of many residents. Recently another earthquake also struck Jinan.” I seized this opportunity. “The heavens are seeking retribution. Good people will be spared while bad people are eliminated. Sister, you are a religious person while the Communist Party promotes atheism. I advise you to quit the CCP as soon as possible, so you won’t suffer retribution along with it. I’ll give you a pseudonym if you are willing to quit?” She replied, “Okay, I’ll quit, thank you!”
6. “I Want to Read Zhuan Falun”
Once while chatting with a vegetable vendor I told him, “Farmers today are suffering badly. Our society is corrupt, while the Communist Party ignores its citizens’ welfare while boasting about how it has made the country prosperous.” My words resonated with him, and he contributed some recent examples of how the Communist Party continued to cheat everyday people. I replied, “Brother, let me tell you a secret. Reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” can help ensure your health and safety.” I told him the truth behind the persecution of Dafa and explained the benefits of withdrawing from the CCP. The vegetable vendor acknowledged my advice and said, “The Communist Party has done nothing good for Chinese citizens. It is completely bad.” I replied, “They will suffer retribution from heaven.” The 72-year-old vegetable vendor then told me he had served as a soldier and joined the CCP in the 1970s. When I advised him to quit and disassociate himself from the CCP, he agreed.
I passed him a Falun Dafa protective amulet and he exclaimed, “You are so kind. I would also like to read the book Zhuan Falun.” Moved by his kindness and sincerity, I said. “Okay, I’ll bring a copy for you.” We agreed to meet again at a specific time and date.
Three days later, I visited his vegetable stall and handed over the book as promised. He reverently received it and happily thanked me. I told him, “This opportunity was created by Falun Dafa’s Master, so you could receive this precious book.” The vegetable vendor responded by clasping his palms together and thanking Master. I then advised him, “Wash your hands before opening the book and don’t read it while lying down.” He reassured me, “Don’t worry, I’ll read while sitting in the meditation position.” I smiled. “That’s great! Read it well at home!”
Though I have experienced many more touching examples while clarifying the truth, I am unable to list them all. Sometimes I have to walk quite far, leaving my clothes soaked in sweat during the hot months of June and July in order to locate these predestined people. Sometimes I skip breakfast, but miraculously feel neither hungry nor tired. The joy and gratitude expressed by these sentient beings who have obtained salvation is reward enough for my efforts.
My various encounters have made me realize how everything is arranged by Master. As long as we let go of our human attachments, cultivate ourselves, remove our selfish motivations, and make an effort to save more sentient beings, we can complete our historic mission and live up to Master’s expectations.
