(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Wudalianchi City, Heilongjiang Province] Lu Guangdong Arrested and Detained
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Bian Lichao Released After Being Imprisoned for 12 Years
8. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jiang Lifang Arrested and Detained
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhao Xiufang Arrested
10. [Chongqing] Seven Practitioners Arrested
1. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Guili Sentenced to One Year in Prison
Ms. Wang Guili was tried in the Jinzhou Court on June 21, 2023 and was sentenced to one year in prison. She was sent to the No. 2 Detention Center of Shijiazhuang City.
2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Yanming Arrested
Mr. Wang Yanming, around 50, was arrested at his work place in the No. 10 Oil Production Plant on June 28, 2023. He was recorded by surveillance cameras when he put up stickers containing in formation about Falun Gong near his home. He refused to tell police where the materials came from, and he was arrested.
3. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Jian Detained
Ms. Wang Jian was arrested on July 11, 2022 and was later sentenced to two years in prison. She was taken to the Heilongjiang Women’s Prison on June 28, 2023.
4. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Mingde Faces Trial
Mr. Liu Ming from Xigao Town will be tried by the Shifang City Court on the morning of June 30, 2023.
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wen Jing Arrested
Twelve officers went to Ms. Wen Jing’s home in the Riyueshanshui Residential Community at noon on June 26, 2023. They broke the lock and forcibly entered the apartment. They confiscated four computers, a printer, two cell phones and other personal belongings. The police called Ms. Wen’s husband, who is not a practitioner, and arrested him when he came home. The couple was handcuffed and taken to the Shekou Police Station. Due to insufficient evidence, they were released later that day.
6. [Wudalianchi City, Heilongjiang Province] Lu Guangdong Arrested and Detained
Lu Guangdong, who works in the Zhanhe Forestry Bureau, was arrested at home on June 28, 2023. He was placed under 15-day detention and sent to the Wudalianchi City Detention Center.
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Bian Lichao Released After Being Imprisoned for 12 Years
Mr. Bian Lichao, an excellent teacher in the No. 10 Middle School of Kailuan, has been imprisoned for 12 years. He was released on June 24, 2023.
8. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jiang Lifang Arrested and Detained
Numerous officers, including Liu Deqing from the Panggong Police Station, went to Ms. Jiang Lifang’s home at 9 a.m. on March 22, 2023. They ransacked her home and confiscated a paper bill imprinted with Falun Gong facts, a Falun Gong amulet, a hand-copied Falun Gong book, two cell phones, and three media players. Ms. Jiang and her husband were taken to the police station. Her husband was released later. Ms. Jiang was detained for 10 days and was released on April 3, 2023.
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhao Xiufang Arrested
Ms. Zhao Xiufang from Ninghe District was arrested on June 25, 2023. Her home was ransacked.
10. [Chongqing] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Seven practitioners were arrested around March 6, 2023 and were held in the Huayan Detention Center in the Jiulongpo District. Three practitioners, Tan Ping, Huang Yubin and Liu, are still detained. The rest have been released.
