(Minghui.org) I am a veteran Dafa practitioner in my 80s. I became free of illness shortly after I began practicing in 1997. I live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and have benefitted so much from the practice. Because my family supports me, they have also been blessed by Dafa.
My Daughter-In-Law’s Malignant Tumor Disappeared
My daughter-in-law was diagnosed with a malignant uterine tumor in the winter of 2013. She went to a large hospital, where the surgeon arranged for her to have a hysterectomy. Due to the New Year holiday, the surgery was postponed as she decided to visit me for a family reunion.
On New Year’s Day, my daughter-in-law had severe abdominal pain accompanied by a dark vaginal discharge. With no quick cure available, I suggested we all ask Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, for help. We all began reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Amazingly, her abdominal pain subsided.
When she left, I gave her audio recordings of Master's lectures and the book Zhuan Falun. She listened to the lectures every day and also meditated when she returned home. She felt better day by day. She decided to seek a cure in Dafa and canceled the surgery. When she went back to the hospital for a checkup in May, the doctor found her tumor was completely gone! We were all so happy to hear the news and thanked Master for his saving grace!
My daughter-in-law was filled with joy: “It is Dafa’s Master who saved me! Thank you, thank you!”
Her two siblings and other relatives quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related organizations and learned how wonderful Dafa is.
Blessed for Supporting Dafa
In my spare time, I did my best to raise awareness about the persecution and tell people about the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa. Many people understood the facts and were blessed for their support. The following are a few examples.
Logging Worker’s Pain Disappeared Over Night
One year, six logging workers stayed at my place while they worked in the area. After they came home from working all day, one of the men, in his 50s, went to bed without eating. He seemed to be in great pain.
Others told me that after work, he was in a hurry to relieve himself. When he’d squatted down, a sharp branch pierced his backside. He bled a lot and it hurt.
I live in a remote area and there was no hospital nearby. I explained to him the basic information about Falun Dafa and the persecution. I also urged him to quit the CCP and he immediately agreed. He began reciting out loud the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He fell asleep shortly afterward.
He got up the next day as if nothing had happened. He had no pain and went to work as usual. When they returned that night, everyone was commenting about how amazing Falun Dafa was! They were so impressed that the man recovered so quickly. All the loggers quit the Party and its organizations.
They kept our contact information after they left and called me several times for Falun Dafa information, because their family members were also interested in learning the truth.
Elderly Woman’s Headache Was Gone
When I went through a neighboring village in the summer, I came across an older woman with her head wrapped in a heavy scarf. I asked her if she was all right since it was very hot.
She told me that she had suffered with migraines for years. She’d tried all sorts of treatments without symptom relief. All she could do was wrap her head to relieve the pain a little.
I told her to sincerely recite the auspicious phrases and it would help her. She immediately began to say them.
When I met her the next time, she told me, “You are so right. Those words do work! I have been reciting them whenever I have time. One day I had a bad nosebleed, but after that, my headache was gone completely! I no longer need to wrap my head. Thank you so so much!”
“It was Dafa’s Master who helped you.”
“Thank you, Dafa’s Master!” she exclaimed.
My Friend Was Blessed for Supporting Dafa
We have a good family friend who lives 10 miles away. He and his family had learned the truth about Dafa and quit the Party. I knew there were no Falun Dafa practitioners in their district, so one day I took some Dafa informational materials to distribute in their area after dinner.
My friend did not want me to go by myself, so he went with me to hand out information and put up Dafa posters. We covered three villages from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and it was completely quiet the entire time.
When we got home, his dog began to bark and the other dogs in the village responded. My friend commented that it was strange that no dogs had barked while we were distributing the materials. I told him that Master had helped us.
My friend bought a powerful bean-grinding machine and started up a small business. While his son was operating it one day, his pants were accidentally caught in the conveyor belt. The machine was turning so fast that he was about to be pulled into it, when all of a sudden, the belt snapped, and his son was tossed to the ground. He lost consciousness and was taken to the county hospital. The doctor didn’t find anything wrong except for a few scratches in the upper corner of his right eye.
When my friend saw me the next time, he told me about the accident and that everyone present said they were blessed and protected by Heaven. The belt was very strong—how did it break just in time? If it hadn’t broken, it would have been an unimaginable tragedy! He said that he believed Dafa Master saved his son’s life.
Once my friend went up the mountain with a truckload of fertilizer. As he was coming down the hill, the break stopped working. The truck went flying, and he was terrified. Suddenly the truck turned to the left and stopped against a cliff. But a passenger in the back of the truck was nowhere to be seen. My friend began yelling her name and then saw her waving at him from the top of the mountain. She had no idea when or how she’d gotten off the truck, but they both believe Master protected them!
