(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1995. At that time, I read one lecture of Zhuan Falun every day and listened to Master’s audio recording of the same lecture. My body and mind improved significantly. In order to help more people learn Falun Dafa, I helped the Falun Dafa Assistance Center hold a nine-day class in my employer’s auditorium. More than 400 people attended and watched Master’s Fa lecture video.
On the second day of the class, the police went to my employer and tried to pressure the management to cancel the class. The management approached me and explained the situation. I thought, “We must finish the nine-day class so that the attendants can watch all the nine lectures of Master’s teaching.”
Another practitioner and I went to the management and talked to several leaders. We patiently explained that practicing Falun Dafa is beneficial and harms no one. With Master’s empowerment, we cleared the interference and finished the nine-day class. The students watched all of Master’s nine lectures and learned the exercises. A number of Falun Dafa exercise sites formed in our city afterward and I became a volunteer coordinator of the Falun Dafa Assistance Center.
In the early days of the persecution, the police pressured my management and tried make to me write a “statement of understanding.” I wrote how I felt about cultivating Dafa and the improvements I achieved through cultivation. The police rejected my statement and told my management to assign another person to write a letter of repentance (on my behalf). They wanted to video-record me reading the letter.
I was calm the night before the recording and could feel Master was with me. The only thought I had was how I should tell the people that Falun Dafa is good and is being persecuted. I went to the recording early the next morning, and told the cameraman, “Please record the entirety of my speech, don’t take it out of context.”
Several leaders came and we waited for the police to arrive. When it was time for the scheduled recording, the management received a phone call from the police, saying that some practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, and they had to go there to bring them back immediately. The recording was canceled.
The persecution soon escalated, and many Falun Dafa practitioners in our city were taken to the brainwashing center in the provincial city. The 610 Office told my employer to take me there. One morning, someone from the management called me and asked me to come into the office. When I arrived, he told me that they wanted me to attend a legal training class for a month. I didn’t realize that it was a brainwashing class and told him that I was busy on a project and asked them to send someone else.
He could not hide it any longer and showed me the secret document from the 610 Office. I realized what was happening, and told him firmly, “I didn’t do anything illegal, they have no right to detain me. I am an employee of this company and you should not just listen to their side of the story.”
He called the 610 Office, and the other party insisted that he take me there by force. I firmly told him, “I can die, but I am not going.” I told him, “Falun Dafa teaches people to be good following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, I practice Falun Dafa to be a good person. If I go to the brainwashing class, most people will think that I did something illegal. It would bring a bad name to me, my family, and the company. You can go to the 610 Office to find out the real situation. Please do not blindly follow their instructions.”
With Master’s strengthening I held onto my righteous thoughts. Two management personnel went to the 610 Office and asked them for the evidence of me violating the law, the members of the 610 Office staff could not show anything. One of the management told the 610 Office members, “He did not do anything illegal! Taking my employee into custody by force is a violation of human rights.”
The 610 Office had to give up and my management chose a bright future for themselves. Thank you Master for protecting and strengthening me!
Master is always with us. As long as we can hold righteous thoughts with a clear mind, we can awaken the kindness and righteous mindset in ordinary people to resist the evil. Then they will receive Dafa’s salvation and have a bright future.
Thank you, Master, for giving me wisdom! This will allow me to deny the persecution more effectively and help more people receive Dafa’s salvation.
