(Minghui.org) I started to practice Falun Dafa in 2012 and am now 59. Dafa has purified my body and mind, making me a considerate practitioner who can selflessly help others. I have felt just how wonderful and precious Dafa is, my body and mind are cleansed, and my level has gradually elevated. I now have no unrealistic hopes or need for worldly things, I only have Dafa and people who need to be saved, and I want to save them every day.
Cultivating Compassion While Clarifying the Truth
I started to use my cell phone to clarify the truth five months after I started to cultivate. I remember when a boy answered the phone one day and I told him that the Tiananmen self-immolation was staged, he started to curse. I said “You sound very young. Why are you cursing me?” He said, “I am 16 years old, and I can curse you if I want to.” He said such vulgar things that he made me cry, and tears ran down my face. I felt I was being treated so unfairly and thought, “I spent money to call you in order to save you and yet you say such things to me? If I didn’t practice Dafa, I would say things to make you cry. How can I put up with such insults?” I was trembling with anger, but I remembered Master’s teaching: “...one should not fight back when being punched or insulted...” (Lecture Four in Zhuan Falun)
He was deceived by the CCP’s lies, but I was a practitioner and I had to endure it. I did endure it, although it was with tears in my eyes.
Once, a man answered the phone. He was receptive to the truth, but just as he was about to agree to quit the CCP, his wife snatched the phone from him and started cursing wildly. I knew she was jealous of a woman calling her husband, so I hung up. I understood that she was insecure and might not believe that there are kindhearted people who just wanted to help her husband avoid a catastrophe. I was not angry, and I had a kind thought for her, hoping that she would be safe.
I called a man who sounded as if he was in his 70s and advised him to quit the CCP to stay safe. He began to curse at me. My heart wept, feeling sorry for him. He was deceived by the CCP, he slandered Dafa, creating karma in his ignorance as he cursed in his trembling voice. I said, “Don’t be angry, I don’t mean any harm. I just hope you can be safe.” I hung up so that he wouldn’t say anything else to create more karma.
A woman in her 30s or 40s answered the phone. When I told her that the epidemic was very serious and she must be careful, she didn’t speak. When I talked about quitting the CCP, she said, “Come here, take off your clothes, and let me look.” The first time I heard her say that, I thought she was talking to her kid. But she said it several times, and I realized she was talking to me. I said, “I really hope you can be safe and escape this catastrophe. It is truly for your own good.” She hung up. I called again but she didn’t answer.
I knew why she said those dirty things—she wanted me to get angry and stop telling her the truth. But my heart was still calling out to her: “Poor woman, you were deceived by the CCP. You didn’t know that this was a call to save you, and you missed an opportunity to be saved. If someone tells you the truth in the future, you must quit the CCP and be saved!”
I spoke to a man who had trouble talking—it sounded as if he’d had a stroke. I talked to him for 12 minutes, and he listened quietly and agreed to withdraw from the CCP. Then he said, “I have trouble speaking.” I said, “I’ll teach you how to recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ and you will be fine.”
He said, “I can’t.” I said, “Yes, you can. I’ll teach you. Say it sincerely with me.” He couldn’t pronounce it correctly at first, but after doing it twice, I could tell that he was saying, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” After he recited it with me eight or nine times, I felt that he sounded much better. I told him, “You should recite the two phrases sincerely and often, and you will know the power of Dafa.” He thanked me.
I heard a sound where he was and asked if someone else was there. He said there were four other people. “Did they hear what I said?” I asked. He said they did, so I said to them, “You have all heard the truth, and I hope you will be safe and escape the plague. Let me know what CCP organizations you have joined, and I will help you quit. I will give each of you a pseudonym, and you just need to agree to it and you will be safe. Okay?”
The four other people didn’t say anything, but the first man I’d just talked to agreed for them. I said, “They need to agree to be saved. No one can do that for them. When you joined the CCP, you raised a fist and swore to dedicate your life to the CCP. Now you must agree to quit it to be safe.”
No matter what I said, they didn’t respond. The first man said, “They don’t believe it, but I believe everything you said.” I said, “Okay, you must remember to sincerely recite the two phrases and you will be blessed.”
A man I spoke to agreed to quit the CCP and its youth organizations but then he said, “I agree with what you said, but I want to ask you, you work so hard, how much are you paid a day?” I choked up when I heard that. The CCP’s lies have deceived so many people and prevented them from being saved. I was sad and told him, “We are cultivating Buddhahood and our lives are for others. We spend our own money to make brochures and call people. No one gives us a penny. You must not be influenced by the CCP’s deceit—the CCP is still persecuting Dafa. Every practitioner risks being persecuted to clarify the truth. We do what we do just so that you can understand the truth and stay safe in the great elimination. Your safety is our greatest wish.” He said, “I believe everything you said! I will tell my relatives and friends how to stay safe! Thank you!”
People Respect Dafa after They Understand the Truth
I clarified the truth to a young man from Guangdong Province. He listened quietly, understood the truth, and quit the CCP organizations. He said, “Tell me your card number!” I didn’t understand what he meant, so I asked, “What card number?” He said, “Your bank card number—so I can transfer some money to your account.” I said, “I don’t want money, Buddhas save those who are predestined and bless those who are kind. I will be happy if you are saved.” He said, “You have helped save me, and I want to express my gratitude. I’ll give you 888 yuan (a lucky number in China), and I mean it.” I said, “Thank you for your kindness. We clarify the truth to save people, we don’t ask for anything, and we just hope that people will understand the truth and be saved. I hope you can tell your relatives and friends the truth so that they can be saved as well, and you will be rewarded with great blessings!” He said, “Yes, I will.”
I called a lady who listened to a few sentences and then hung up without saying anything. When I called again, she asked, “What’s the matter?” I sensed she was a high level manager from the way she sounded. I had been clarifying the truth over the phone for 11 years, and I could guess the occupation and status of a person by listening to his or her voice. I said, “I am calling to remind you to protect yourself. In the past three years, the CCP has been hiding the seriousness of the epidemic, and more than 400 million people have died. The first wave of the epidemic attacked the lungs and hearts, and many elderly people died. Now, five viruses are circulating at the same time in the second wave. Don’t take it lightly. You must protect yourself.” She readily agreed to quit the CCP.
She asked, “How much should I give you?” I told her, “We are cultivators, we don’t need a penny from you, we just hope that people will be safe.” She thanked me, and I said, “You and your family are safe now. Heaven saves those who are destined and blesses kind people. I will tell you a way to keep your family and friends safe: Tell them to write on a 10-yuan paper bill that they quit whatever CCP organizations they have joined. They can use a pseudonym, but they must write these words themselves, no one else can do it for them. Tell them to spend the money, spend it for heaven’s sake. When heaven sees them announcing their withdrawals, they will be safe. You must tell them to remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Your relatives and friends will be protected by Dafa, and they will be safe wherever they go.” Then I told her about the staged Tiananmen self-immolation, the truth about organ harvesting, and so on. She said sincerely, “Thank you, I will tell my relatives and friends.”
A man who answered my call sounded like he was in his 50s and seemed very kind. He readily agreed to withdraw from the CCP after hearing what I told him. He interacted with me quite happily when I told him how wonderful Falun Dafa is. He cried to hear about the CCP harvesting organs from living practitioners, removing their livers, kidneys, hearts, and corneas without anesthesia, and then selling them to rich people.
He asked, “How can the CCP be so cruel?” I spoke for more than 10 minutes, and he cried the whole time. I said, “I am telling you this because I hope your family, relatives, and friends can be safe.” He said, “Thank you for letting me know the truth. I will tell them to hurry up and get safe.”
During the 11 years I have been calling people to clarify the truth, I endured all the bad things people have said to me with tears in my eyes and my body shaking. To this day, no matter what terrible things some people may say to me, I can remain unmoved for I know they were harmed by the evil CCP. With Master’s immeasurable blessing, I can speak compassionately, hoping to awaken their good side so that they can understand the truth. Only when they do can they truly be saved. They are live media, and the truth can spread far and wide among their relatives and friends, and more people can be saved.
