(Minghui.org) My sister lives in another province, and she is also a Dafa disciple. She had been thinking about sharing information about Falun Dafa with a former manager at her previous place of work. This particular manager was a division-level manager in the company. He had memorized all four volumes of the selected works of former CCP (Chinese Communist Party) leader Mao Zedong, and he could speak at length in meetings about it. Because he was relatively approachable, did not put on airs, and did things for the sake of the employees, the people who had dealt with him spoke highly of him.
My sister thought that he was not a bad person and worked hard when she worked with him. She had been thinking about helping him get out from under the control of the communist specter. Every time she came back to visit, she would talk to him about Falun Gong and try to persuade him to quit the CCP, but unfortunately he would not do it.
Some time ago when my sister came back, she thought of him and asked me to go with her to visit him. She worried that he would be completely ruined by the evil CCP if we gave up on him. I thought that because, we practitioners are one body, I should go and send righteous thoughts to support her.
She and I went to visit him one evening. He was suffering from hemiplegia, but was in a good mental state and happy to see us. He and I hadn’t seen each other for years, and we chatted about the past. When he was talking with my sister, I sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil spirits behind him.
After they'd talked for a while, I said, “Sir, seeing you today increases our worry about your health. You worked all your life and you should enjoy a happy retirement. My sister has talked to you several times about Falun Gong and quitting the CCP for a safe future, but you never did. Can you tell us why?” He said that he was not convinced by what my sister had said.
I gave him a pat on his back and said, “Why didn’t you believe her? Who kept you from believing her? It was the evil communist spirit that did!” He looked stunned for a moment, and I knew that the things behind him were gone.
I continued, “Those evil spirits don’t want you to believe in Gods and Buddhas; they want to destroy you. If you don’t quit the CCP organizations, you retain their mark and they control you. They will take you to hell with them. My sister practices Falun Gong and knows what’s going on. She has been thinking about you and has visited you every time she came back. She wants to help you have a safe future. If you keep standing with the evil CCP, you are putting your future and your family’s future at risk.”
I added, “The evil CCP brainwashes you with atheism and makes you feel that there are no Gods and Buddhas. However, which one of those senior leaders of the CCP doesn’t believe in the existence of Gods and Buddhas? If Mao Zedong didn’t believe it, why would there be a Military Unit 8341? (It was said that once Mao Zedong sent a secretary to ask an old Taoist priest about his future safety, but the priest did not say anything, except to give the secretary a piece of paper. Mao opened the paper and saw the number 8341. He then named his personal guard the 8341 unit, even though he didn’t understand the meaning of the number.)
“If the later CCP leader Jiang Zemin didn’t believe in them, why did he copy The Sutra of Terra-Treasure by hand? They all believe, but they don’t want the people to believe in Gods and Buddhas; they want the people to believe in the evil CCP only. When I was young, I was taught atheism by the CCP, and I also shouted out that I would fight against heaven and earth. If God wants it to rain today, can people say no?”
I went on, “You know that my sister suffered from a number of illnesses, and she visited many doctors, but none could help her. After practicing Falun Gong, she recovered from all her illnesses. She now has a glowing complexion and walks energetically. Look at you, you have worked hard for the CCP all your life, and what have you gained? Even with your health condition, you still cling to it. Please stop believing in the CCP and quit it as soon as possible.”
He looked at me with a smile and said, “Okay, please help me quit the CCP.” I said, “Quit the CCP and you will be blessed! Please remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’” He kept nodding. I then said to his wife, “Madam, you should quit too.” She said, “Okay, I agree to quit. I joined the Youth League when I was young.”
He walked slowly to another room, where he got a copy of the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and showed it to us. I asked, “Who gave it to you? Did you read it yet?” He said, “Someone put it outside my window; I haven't had the opportunity to read it yet.” I said, “Please read it; then you will better understand why we helped you to quit the CCP.” He agreed to read it.
Later, a practitioner told me that her father had been close to this particular manager for a long time. Her father quit the CCP after hearing that the retired manager quit the CCP. Many other people who knew him followed suit and quit the CCP. I felt happy for them, because they had chosen a bright future for themselves.
