(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden held a series of activities in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden; Gothenburg; and Malmo from July 20-22, 2023. The activities aimed to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) 24-year-long persecution of Falun Gong, and call on all people in Sweden to pay attention to the CCP’s crime of harvesting organs from living practitioners. They asked that the Swedish people join in the practitioners’ efforts to stop the persecution.
The CCP has continued to implement a genocidal policy against Falun Gong since July 1999, using various ploys. The suppression and persecution of practitioners have not stopped.

Peaceful Protesting the Persecution in Front of the Chinese Embassy and Consulate
Practitioners lined up and did the exercises on the lawn in front of the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm on the morning of July 20 and 22, 2023. They showed people the beauty of Falun Dafa, aka Falun Gong, exposed the CCP’s brutal persecution of it during the past 24 years, and called for the disintegration of the CCP, and the end to the persecution.
Shortly after the event started, the staff of the Chinese Embassy played songs through multiple loudspeakers in the courtyard, attempting to interfere with practitioners’ activity. Practitioners were unmoved and continued to do the exercises peacefully. They also explained the facts about Falun Dafa to the staff at the Chinese embassy, and read a letter advising them to be good through a loudspeaker. They advised Chinese compatriots to overcome fear, to choose to withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations as soon as possible, to stay away from the evil spirit of communism, and to have a bright and beautiful future.
Practitioners clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to the staff at the Chinese Embassy.
The noise from the loudspeakers in the Chinese Embassy attracted many Swedish people. They talked with practitioners and were told the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution. Many people said that they would tell more people the facts about the practice and the CCP’s outrageous behavior.
During practitioners’ peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Embassy on July 20 and 22, 2023, embassy staff used loudspeakers to make noise to interfere with the activities. The noise attracted many Swedish people to stop and inquire about it. After learning what was going on, many people went directly to the Chinese Embassy and talked to the guard on duty. Some took out their cell phones and recorded practitioners’ activity along with the noise coming from the Chinese Embassy, saying that they would upload the video to their social media and tell more people the facts about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s atrocious behavior.
Practitioners peacefully protested at the opposite side of the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg. They distributed Falun Dafa informational materials to people, exposed the CCP’s persecution, and called on the public to help stop the persecution.

Residents Linda and Sara passed by and immediately stopped when they saw the peaceful protesting crowd in front of them. They accepted a brochure and wanted to know what was going on. They were very surprised after listening to what a practitioner told them.
Linda said, “I’ve learned about China’s poor human rights records, and I also know that China is ruled by a dictatorship. This government of dictatorship has done many bad things and deceived people in China and the world, using evil ways. But, I have never heard of the persecution of Falun Dafa.” They collected the informational materials and said that they would continue to pay attention to the persecution and help more people hear about it.
A Swedish man, who had traveled to many countries, came to talk with practitioners after attentively reading an informational brochure. He told the practitioners, “When I saw on a TV program that the CCP was harvesting organs from living practitioners for profit, I could not 'believe it was true. I have been to many countries and I have seen a lot. But the brutality of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong is definitely one of the worst things I’ve heard about. It is too evil.” He learned the facts about Falun Dafa, and wished practitioners good luck!
Spreading Facts Far and Wide and Calling for an End to the Persecution
Practitioners held activities to raise awareness of persecution on the afternoon of July 20th, near Stora Teatern, the main parade street in central Gothenburg and at Triangeltorgrt [town square] in central Malmo. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises to passersby, and distributed informational materials about Falun Dafa. They also collected signatures for the petition that calls on the world to learn the facts of the persecution and stop these crimes against humanity.

People Learn the Facts and Love Falun Dafa
Practitioners held an activity at the Coin Square (Mynttorget) next to the Swedish Parliament at the capital Stockholm on the afternoon of July 21, 2023. They demonstrated group exercises, displayed the Dafa informational materials on boards, and collected signatures condemning the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting from living practitioners. Many people condemned the CCP’s atrocities and signed the petition to support practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution. Many people were interested in the practice and wanted to learn Falun Dafa.

Hatice is a Swedish tourist bus driver. She read the display boards, then stood there quietly watching the practitioners do the exercises. When a practitioner handed her an informational brochure, she said happily, “I saw Falun Dafa a few years ago when I was waiting for guests in front of the Stockholm City Hall. I wanted to learn the practice at that time, but I couldn’t find you later. I didn’t expect to meet you here today. I really enjoy the tranquility and peace, and I feel at ease. It seems that I must begin practicing this exercise.”
The driver of the Swedish tour bus signed a petition to support ending the persecution after being told about the information of Falun Gong and the persecution. She also said that she wants to learn to practice Falun Dafa.
Hatice appreciated hearing about Falun Dafa. She said she strongly believes that what Falun Dafa practitioners said was true. She said, “I know of the evilness of the CCP. In China, all people and groups that the CCP dislikes will be brutally persecuted and suppressed.”
When she learned that she could use her signature to support practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution, she immediately walked to the signature book, “This is really great! I must sign my name!” She added, “I really hope I can meet you here again next time.”
Danish Tourist, “Falun Dafa Is Exactly What I’m Looking for”
Emilie from Denmark is a qigong enthusiast. She carefully read through the display boards, and immediately expressed her interest in the practice. A practitioner told her that Falun Dafa is a practice based on the characteristics of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It teaches people to cultivate their minds to be kind and to be good people. Hundreds of millions of people all over the world have improved their morality and their physical and mental health through cultivating in Falun Dafa.
Emily, a Danish qigong enthusiast, expressed her gratitude to practitioners for introducing Falun Dafa to her and explaining the facts about it.
Emily listened intently to a practitioner who introduced Falun Dafa to her and explained the facts about it. She said excitedly, “Great! To me, today is the most important day in my life. This is exactly what I’m looking for.”
She added, “I like traditional Chinese culture very much, and I especially like practicing qigong. I have been looking for it for a long time. I finally found it today. When I return home I must read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa first, and then I will learn to do the exercises.”
Before leaving, she thanked the practitioners for introducing Falun Dafa to her and explain the facts about it. She said, “Falun Dafa practitioners are simply sent from heaven. For me, today is the most important day in my life. I am very grateful for this beautiful and meaningful meeting and conversation.”
