(Minghui.org) At the end of 2022 when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) suddenly abandoned the “Zero-COVID” policy, the virus spread all over the country like wildfire. Unfortunately, my brother with multiple underlying health conditions became infected, and upon X-ray 80% of his lung appeared “white" on the film. This finding, often referred to as “white lung” disease in China, indicates that the lungs are not receiving enough air, and breathing is obstructed. Fortunately, he is the only one who survived among all the “white lung” patients in the hospital.
My younger brother has had several underlying diseases for years. He suffers from diabetes and has to inject insulin every day. In 2012, he experienced uncontrollable bleeding and he was sent to the hospital emergency room. He was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia and had to rely on drugs to maintain normal blood clotting. Later he required the placement of a stent after a heart attack. Even worse, he had kidney disease requiring dialysis every day.
It was a disaster for him after the CCP abandoned all pandemic controls at the end of 2022. Soon all hospitals and clinics were full of infected patients. My brother had symptoms too. He had breathing difficulties, coughing, and blood in his sputum. He went to a local hospital on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year. However, right after he entered the hospital, a doctor yelled at him and told him to go away. My brother begged the doctor for some medications, but the doctor simply ignored him.
With no other choice, he went to another hospital and was rejected again. Luckily one of the doctors agreed to give him an infusion to help relieve his symptoms, but he said, “Even if you stayed here, we are unable to treat you because of our limitations, you have to be taken care of by a large hospital.” Unexpectedly, my brother’s situation got worse after the infusion. His family took him to a hospital where his wife’s brother worked. Usually in China, if a patient has connections, he/she would be able to skip the waiting line.
My brother was finally admitted. But in the next four days, no doctor took care of him. We learned later that it was because the hospital ran out of medicine. At that time, 80% of his lungs were “white.” He could hardly breathe. His face, arms, and hands were edematous. If he attempted to lie down, he couldn’t stop coughing and his sputum was tinged with blood.
When my brother saw me in the hospital, he couldn’t stop crying, “Sister, too much pain, I can’t stand it anymore.” I told him, “Don’t be afraid. Do you still remember the auspicious phrases I told you? Recite it now: ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ If you do it sincerely, a miracle will happen.”
My brother and his wife both recited the phrases with sincerity. After a moment, my brother could lie down! Everyone was surprised and somewhat relieved. The next day when I went to the hospital, my brother was much better. After that, his condition kept improving. His wife told us that their whole family recited the auspicious phrases every day.
Another amazing thing occurred with my sister-in-law and her children. They went to the hospital every day but none of them were infected, even though at that time even the hospital hallways were full of COVID-19 patients.
Without any medication, my brother gradually recovered. The doctor said to him with thumbs up, “You are really lucky. In this hospital, all patients in your same situation died. It is a miracle that you survived!”
The whole family witnessed the extraordinary magnificence of Falun Dafa. They are grateful to Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa.
